			Proper fit for Clothing Items: Coats, Sweaters, Sweatshirts, and Sleepware Measure length of pet's back (topline) from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.  If the measurement is between sizes, we recommend going up one size.  Also, if pet has a stout build, a deep chest, or is overweight, we recommend going up a minimum of one size for proper fit.  If the dog is long-backed, like a Dachshund, a smaller size is recommended. 				Choosing the right size Velveteen Collars Measure the circumference of the dog's neck and add 2". Collars should fit comfortably on the dog's neck. You should be able to put 2 fingers between the collar and the dog's neck. 1/2" - 5/8" widths best for puppies and small dogs 3/4" widths are best for small to medium dogs 1" - 1 1/4" widths are best for large dogs

To determine proper chin strap length, start measurement just under one ear, go under the chin and back up to under the other ear. Small fits dogs approximately 9 -25 lbs. Medium fits dogs approximately 15 - 60 lbs. Large fits dogs approximately 45 - 60lbs.
